Update on Star.

I think most of you remember that last June my sister's horse Star got her leg hung in some barbed weir and had exposed three inches of bone and had severed a tendon.

Well since then Star ha
s been at our house and we have been doctoring her although it has been a very long and disappointing time because instead of getting better over theses months of doctoring her she has gotten even worse and the wound has grown, *UGH* the problem we are having is with the proud flesh that keeps wanting to grow we it is awful she has over the months she has had two surgeries which is very disheartening because every time she has a surgery it means that the last two months of work was completely worthless, but now I have some good news we have finally found a cream that seems to be working the proud flesh is just melting off which means not only is it getting much better but since this cream
melts it instead of eating at it the wound no longer drips blood and has a rotten smell to like it has for so long. So we are greatly rejoicing that this new stuff is working so well.

Here is a picture so you can get a idea of what the wound looks like.
You might notice that the wounded leg is swollen about twice the size of the other leg this swelling has been like that all these months and sometimes even more swollen then it is there. It so sad to see how much Star has had to suffer but at least she is healing and we praise God for that.
