Ike

Hey y'all,
I will not be posting for a bit. Ike is com'n so were a run'n to get every thing put away so that it don't get blown to who knows were. But we will be staying at home for this one since we are not in Corpus but thirty five minuets inland so therefore not on the water. Christopher, Jennifer and Cromwell will most likely be coming over to stay at our place with their animals and if it is up to Christopher probably a lot of books too. :) So I will talk to y'all later. God bless y'all.

Hey y'all!
Thanks for the prayers God in his faithfulness has already started to answer them. Ike has is now headed a bit north of us do to a high pressure front that is pushing it away from Corpus. Ike is now most likely going to be a category four when it makes landfall now though do to it slowing down. So that is not very good for those it will be hitting but since it is slower it gives the front more time to push it farther and farther away from us. So we are no longer in very much danger. But even if the storm is still very strong we are trusting in God's protection over us and our possessions and mom has also gotten everything needed encase we lose power for a few days. (which no longer looks very likely) Jen has came over with some stuff but has now gone back to her place to get the horse and some more things then tomorrow she will come out again and bring her dog and cats and some more things of theirs as their house is in greater danger then ours since it is close to the water. Our grandparents are also going to be coming out here to stay until the storm has blown over. Thank you so much again for your prayers.

You all's loving friend
Rebecca Marie
